Do I need an account to shorten a URL?
No. Guests can shorten URLs on the homepage. Links are stored in a signed cookie for 30 days. Sign up to claim those links onto your account and unlock a dashboard, analytics, and API keys.
How short are lnkz.xyz links?
Guest and Free links use 7-character codes. Pro uses 4 characters. Business uses 3 characters by default, plus one optional 2-character code. We do not auto-issue 1-character codes.
Does lnkz.xyz have link click analytics?
Every plan includes click totals. Pro and Business add time, country, device, and referrer charts for the last 7, 30, or 90 days. Visitor IPs are hashed and never stored raw.
Is there a URL shortener API?
Yes. Authenticate with Bearer lnkz_… keys against /api/v1/links. Create, list, update, delete links and download QR codes. Daily limits are 100 on Free, 10,000 on Pro, and 100,000 on Business.
Can I use a custom domain for short links?
Business plans include up to three verified custom domains. Add a TXT record on _lnkz.your-domain, verify, then CNAME to lnkz.xyz. Unverified domains never redirect.
What happens to my links if I downgrade?
Existing short links keep redirecting at their original codes. Quotas limit creating new links and using gated features. Custom aliases, extra bio pages, domains, and team seats become read-only until you upgrade or remove them.
Does lnkz.xyz have link-in-bio pages like Linktree?
Yes - Bio v2. Pro includes one public page at /u/your-slug. Business includes five. Add themes, social icons, featured and scheduled buttons, tap analytics, a QR of your bio URL, optional custom-domain root, and a verified badge on Pro and Business.
